Why we exist


Welcome, I am Neil and I created Improview a few years ago and have been trading since December 2014. I am often asked "why did you leave the corporate life and set up Improview"? Well that is easy to answer, It was becoming increasingly difficult to find vendors who would listen to my business needs, requirements and then develop bespoke solutions. I needed trusted providers to act as critical business partners working in collaboration with me. I knew I could do better.


I invested time and money on personal self development that would enable me to deliver our mission statement which is to "improve the view of your world" through our vision of "creating environments where full potential is realised", both for individuals and businesses. From the moment we meet you will see and feel, through our passion & energy, that Improview is different from other learning and development consultancies. The business partnership and relationship is CRITICAL not only from the first meeting but throughout the working collaboration, to the final delivery of the solution ... and beyond 




At Improview our attention is on a simple and clear three focus learning and developmental approach, which we have called our "Inform, Transform & Perform" model.


We have worked with businesses both in the UK and the Global market, including ,United States of America, the United Arab Emirates and across Europe. We have experience of working with a diverse range of industries, including Travel, Manufactoring, Retail and Logistics. Improview have designed & delivered solutions ranging from Induction programmes, teambuilds, change programmes, train the facilitator, leadership & management development programmes, Board effectiveness, behavioural development as well as many stand alone programmes, such as presentation skills and coaching for performance. in addition Improview have qualified professional business coaches as well as accrediated NLP coaches & Insights Discovery practitioners to support individual development.

Who we are

Neil Mundell-Phipps

As Owner and the Chief Happiness Officer at Improview Ltd, I see my role as key relationship partner with all our clients. I have over 20 years experience in the area of human development, from learning, talent management, leadership development and employee engagement. This expertise has been gained in various industries and at all levels. I have a wealth of knowledge, qualifications and experience in learning analysis, design, delivery and evaluation for numerous programmes, I am a great coach (Master NLP  and Timeline Practitioner) and I have a personal passion for human engagement and emotional connections, all of which I have used in professional and personal situations.


I have a passionate, driven and engaging personality that I bring to the playing field on all occasions. I like nothing better than meeting people, business leaders and discussing what is at the heart of their business, all the successes they are facing and looking at potential concerns and then working together to find innovative, exciting and sustainable solutions.

Julie Northfield


As a former Head of Learning & Development, I have a long and successful track record in people development.  From building a Learning & Development department within a blue-chip company to running a leadership development programme in the Namibian desert I have a wide range of experience.


Working primarily within Financial Services, also within other industries such as manufacturing, retail and travel, I have experience delivering leadership, change management to support senior managers and leaders going through transformational change. Additionally, developing graduates at the beginning of their careers . 


I believe that no matter where we are within our business or career journey there is always something, we can learn about ourselves to improve our chance of personal growth or improve the overall performance of our people and our businesses.


In addition to being Chartered Member CIPD my qualifications include Myers Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO and Hogan Assessment as well as an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling.




Cheryl Burgoyne

I am a hugely experienced learning and development professional bringing over 20 years of experience working with different organisations consulting, designing and delivering programmes around topics such as Leadership, Cultural Change, Employee Engagement, Trainer/Facilitator development and much more.

My passion, energy and enthusiasm contributes to ensuring that organisations have the right people, with the required skills and a winning mindset to deliver success. I have the ability to apply a practical understanding of how businesses conduct themselves and then apply this knowledge to drive performance via powerful and focused interventions.

As an experienced personal and professional coach I will instantly build a rapport and communciate in an engaging and inspiring manner to ensure that maximum opportunity is achieved. I am extremely credible, resourceful and unique Consultant who adds value with everyone I interact with at all levels in the business.




Grant Joel

As an expert facilitator, trainer and coach, my focus is on behavioural transformation and experiential learning. Learning has changed, it is no longer about telling and informing in a passive environment. The nature of business now requires highly participative learning that evokes exploration and discovery.

I am certified in Cafe Style Speed Training, NLP Master Coaching, Dale Carnegie Presentation Skills and B tech Level Three in Education and Training. I am able to bring together different methods, tools & styles to achieve powerful transformational results in individuals and groups. Having delivered in numerous corporate organisations in the UK and Internationally, my style of delivery is fun, engaging and approachable, with an emphasis on experiential, subliminal learning and change.



Anne-Louise Pemberton

As a professional trainer, coach and facilitator my specialism is the development of excellent communication and influence.  I love to help individuals and organisations become as effective as they can be. I am passionate about the customer experience, performance management, leadership and team dynamics. 


I have experience of designing, delivering and evaluating programmes that engage, energise and empower both in the UK and internationally, this has been gained in retail, health and the education sectors. I consistently receive great feedback on my informative, lively and engaging style and I always retain focus on the overall business strategy.  I like to measurably improve performance, increase motivation and deliver value. 


My qualifications include, BA Hons, MBTI certification, Certificate in Management Studies and a Diploma in European Humanities.  I am a founder member of The Safer Recruitment Consortium regularly invited to speak at national conferences and a member of the CIPD.
